Can I bring my dog?
I love this question... and the answer is always, of course!!! I love nothing more than when clients bring furry friends to their sessions!
I'm terrible at posing, what do i do?
Yes! I absolutely love to travel. I travel all over the midwest, and am willing to go out of state if it works in my schedule! I travel all of the time, so I am happy to plan a trip around your special event. Many seniors like to plan unique locations as well.
What should I wear?
I love helping clients plan their outfits. Outfits really depend on the type of session, your personality, and the vibe you are going for. I work with my clients to make sure you choose outfits that help you look and feel your best in your photos.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Once your session is booked, we will choose a location that perfectly fits your session. I have lots of amazing locations I love to work with in Central, IL. I am also happy to come to you if you have a special place you would like your portraits done.
what if my kids don't cooperate?
I do not expect your kids to smile at me, or sit still for an hour! As a teacher and mama, I have lots of experience working with kids, chasing them around, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. We will follow your child's lead and slow down when we need to. The best portraits happen when you are interacting with your child. There is no pressure at all that they need to be perfect.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather does not cooperate, we will reschedule your session for another time.
Do you travel?
When you book a session with me, the last thing you need to worry about is posing. That is my job! I have over 10 years of experience working with clients in front of the camera, and I will walk you through everything. Sessions with me feel like a fun time with a friend, not awkwardly standing and stiffly posing.
do you do event photography?
Yes! At this time, I am not photographing weddings, however I AM photographing vow renewals, elopements, parties, family reunions, proms, and other events. Each event is unique, so please reach out for a custom quote and we can talk details of your event. I can usually custom design a package that works within your budget.
